Your tour begins with an early morning pick-up in Ouarzazate. Start with a city tour, visiting the Kasbah of Taourirt and the famous Atlas Film Studios. Journey southeast to the Kasbah Amridil in the Skoura Oasis before driving through the Valley of Roses. Continue to the stunning Dades Gorges for scenic views and then travel to the magnificent red canyon of the Todra Gorges, allowing time for a walk. In the afternoon, arrive in Merzouga, where you will mount your camel for a trek into the vast Erg Chebbi dunes. Stop to watch the magical sunset before heading to a luxury desert camp for a traditional dinner, live Berber music, and an overnight stay under a blanket of stars.
Wake up early to witness a breathtaking desert sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, you will return to Merzouga by camel or 4×4. The day is dedicated to exploring the surrounding Sahara region. Drive off-road to visit a former eyeliner mine and meet local Nomads in their hand-woven tents for tea. The journey continues to the village of Khamlia, where you will enjoy a live performance of Gnaoua music. After lunch, you will have free time to explore the small town of Merzouga or relax. Dinner and a second overnight stay will be in a comfortable hotel or Kasbah in Merzouga.
Begin your final day by waking up early to catch the beautiful desert sunrise one last time (optional). Enjoy a Moroccan breakfast before returning to Merzouga. Your driver will meet you to start the long scenic drive toward Marrakech. The first stop is Rissani to visit its lively and historic traditional market (souk). The route continues through Alnif and the palm-fringed Draa Valley, famous for its thousands of date palms. After reaching Ouarzazate, you will cross the dramatic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Your 3-day desert adventure concludes in the evening with a drop-off at your accommodation in Marrakech.
