Day 1: Casablanca – Marrakech

Begin your journey with a pickup at Casablanca Airport or your designated location. Visit the iconic Hassan II Mosque, the only mosque in Morocco open to non-Muslims, before departing for Marrakech. Upon arrival, explore the lively Jemaa el-Fna Square, famous for its performers, storytellers, and street food. Overnight stay in a hotel or riad in Marrakech.

Day 2: Explore Marrakech with a Local Guide

Discover Marrakech’s vibrant culture and history with a guided tour. Visit landmarks such as the Medersa Ben Youssef, Menara Gardens, Majorelle Gardens, the Saadian Tombs, and Badi Palace. Experience the energy of Jemaa el-Fna Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Marrakech – Ksar Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorges

Depart Marrakech via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, crossing the Atlas Mountains and enjoying panoramic views. Stop in Ouarzazate, then continue to Skoura Oasis and the Rose Valley before arriving at the Dades Gorges. Dinner and overnight stay by the river.

Day 4: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Erg Chebbi Dunes

Travel along a route dotted with beautiful kasbahs before reaching the dramatic Todra Gorges, a paradise for climbers. Continue to the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga, climb the dunes to watch a sunset, and enjoy dinner followed by a traditional Berber music show. Overnight at a desert hotel.

Day 5: Merzouga Desert Exploration

Explore the desert in a 4×4, visiting local Gnawa or Bambara families and discovering desert plateaus, oases, and Mifiss mines. In the afternoon, ride camels to a Berber desert camp, enjoy tea, dinner, and live music under a star-filled sky. Overnight in Berber haimas (tents) for an authentic desert experience.

Day 6: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Ifrane – Fes

Optional early sunrise in the desert before departing for Fes. Travel through the scenic Ziz Valley, Ifrane (Little Switzerland), and the cedar forests with Barbary macaques. Arrive in Fes in the afternoon or evening and check into your hotel or riad.

Day 7: Guided Tour of Fes

Explore Fes, Morocco’s oldest imperial city. Visit the medieval Fes el-Bali medina, Medersa Attarine, Ennajarine Fountain, Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, Karawiyin Mosque and University, and Fes Jdid, the new part of the city. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Fes – Meknes – Volubilis – Rabat – Casablanca

Depart Fes toward the Atlantic coast, stopping in Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Continue to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Proceed to Rabat to visit the Royal Palace Mechouar, Kasbah of Oudayas, and Mohamed V Mausoleum. Finally, transfer back to Casablanca to conclude your 8-day Moroccan adventure.
