Overview
The same crossing as the 3-day tour at a gentler pace, with two nights in the Sahara: a full day in Merzouga to explore the dunes, the Gnawa village of Khamlia and the oasis.
Every tour is private: we can change the route, the hotels and the pace for you.
Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley
Tizi n'Tichka pass, Ait Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate and the Valley of Roses. Night in the Dades Valley.
- Day 2
Dades – Todra Gorge – Merzouga
Todra Gorge, then Merzouga. Night in a hotel at the foot of the dunes.
- Day 3
A day in Merzouga
Visit Khamlia and its Gnawa musicians, the Lake Dayet Srji (seasonal) and nomad families. Optional quad or buggy. Sunset camel ride and night in camp.
- Day 4
Merzouga – Ifrane – Fes
Sunrise on the dunes, then north through the Ziz Valley, the Middle Atlas cedars and Ifrane to Fes.
