Itinerary
- Day 1
Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate
Cross the High Atlas, visit Ait Ben Haddou in the afternoon light and the Atlas film studios. Night in Ouarzazate.
- Day 2
Ouarzazate – Valley of Roses – Dades
Skoura palm grove, Kelaat M'Gouna and the Valley of Roses. Afternoon walk in the Dades gorges. Night in the valley.
- Day 3
Dades – Todra – Merzouga
Todra Gorge, Erfoud and Rissani, then Merzouga. Sunset camel ride and night in the desert camp.
- Day 4
A free day in Merzouga
Explore the dunes, Khamlia and the nomad families, or add sandboarding, a quad or buggy ride. Night in a hotel or a second night in camp.
- Day 5
Merzouga – Ifrane – Fes
North through the Ziz Valley, Midelt and the cedar forest where Barbary macaques live, then Ifrane and Fes.
